Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file file/jsdm/ajax/port.php of the component J-Web Sajax. The manipulation of the argument rs with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The weakness was released 04/05/2013 as PSN-2013-04-914 (Website). The advisory is available at juniper.net. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely.
