A vulnerability was found in PHPSurveyor (Survey Software) (version unknown) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file deletesurvey.php. The manipulation of the argument sid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was released 07/19/2005 by tgo (Website). The advisory is shared for download at archives.neohapsis.com. The attack may be launched remotely. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
