A vulnerability was found in Content*Builder (Content Management System) (version now known) and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file article/comments.inc.php. The manipulation of the argument rel with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was presented 06/12/2006 by Federico Fazzi (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at archives.neohapsis.com. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1068 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
The exploit is available at securityfocus.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:article/comments.inc.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
