A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in QnECMS (affected version unknown). This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file templates/sitemapheader.php. The manipulation of the argument adminfolderpath with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The bug was discovered 10/09/2006. The weakness was disclosed 10/30/2006 by M.Hasran Addahroni (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at advisories.echo.or.id. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1068 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
After even before and not, there has been an exploit disclosed. The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept.
