A vulnerability was found in SolidState (Billing Software) (affected version not known) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file EmailInvoicePage.class.php. The manipulation of the argument base_path with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was shared 09/21/2006 by Kacper (Website). The advisory is shared for download at attrition.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-5020. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1068.
