A vulnerability was found in SolidState (Billing Software) (version unknown). It has been classified as critical. This affects an unknown function of the file SettingsPage.class.php. The manipulation of the argument base_path with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was presented 09/21/2006 by Kacper (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at attrition.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2006-5020.
