A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Magic Photo Storage Website (Photo Gallery Software) (version now known). Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file user/add_news.php. The manipulation of the argument _config[site_path] with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The weakness was released 01/08/2007 by IbnuSina (Website). The advisory is shared for download at archives.neohapsis.com. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1068.
