A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Cisco Linksys E4200 L 1.10 (Router Operating System). Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the file apply.cgi. The manipulation of the argument log_type/ping_ip/ping_size/submit_type with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages.
