The weakness was shared 05/23/2012 by Matthew Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind (efbiaiinzinz) with Google Security Team as confirmed changelog entry (Website). The advisory is available at googlechromereleases.blogspot.ch. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2011-3110 since 08/09/2011. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
