A vulnerability was found in Pandora FMS (affected version not known) and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file operation/agentes/networkmap.php. The manipulation of the argument layout with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality.
The weakness was shared 11/30/2010. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1006 for this issue.
