A vulnerability was found in Microsoft Internet Explorer 9/10/11 (Web Browser). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the component Scripting Engine. The weakness was disclosed 05/10/2016 by Brian Pak with Microsoft as MS16-051 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared at technet.microsoft.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-0189 since 12/04/2015. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.

A public exploit has been developed by Brian Pak and been published 2 months after the advisory. The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as attacked.
