Cisco Prime Network Analysis Module (NAM) before 6.1(1) patch.6.1-2-final and 6.2.x before 6.2(1) and Prime Virtual Network Analysis Module (vNAM) before 6.1(1) patch.6.1-2-final and 6.2.x before 6.2(1) allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted HTTP request, aka Bug ID CSCuy21882.
The weakness was released 06/03/2016 as CSCuy21882 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at tools.cisco.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2016-1388 since 01/04/2016. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
