The StopProxy command in LSC.Services.SystemService in Lenovo Solution Center before 3.3.003 allows local users to terminate arbitrary process via the PID argument.
The weakness was disclosed 06/30/2016 (Website). The advisory is shared at trustwave.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2016-5248 since 06/03/2016. The exploitability is told to be easy. An attack has to be approached locally. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
