A vulnerability was found in Michael Lamont Savant Web Server up to 2.1 (Web Server) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown part of the component URL Handler. The manipulation with the input value %2F leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality, and integrity.
