The Qualcomm GPU driver in Android before 2016-07-05 on Nexus 5X and 6P devices allows attackers to gain privileges via a crafted application, aka Android internal bug 28084795 and Qualcomm internal bug CR1006067.
The weakness was disclosed 07/06/2016 with CheckPoint Security Team as Android Security Bulletin - July 2016 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). The advisory is shared for download at source.android.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2016-2503 since 02/18/2016. The attack needs to be approached locally.
