Blink, as used in Google Chrome before 52.0.2743.116, allows remote attackers to spoof the address bar via vectors involving a provisional URL for an initially empty document, related to FrameLoader.cpp and ScopedPageLoadDeferrer.cpp.
The weakness was presented 08/03/2016 by Sergey Glazunov with Tencent as Stable Channel Update for Desktop, August 2016 as confirmed release notes (Website). The advisory is available at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2016-5141 since 05/31/2016.
