Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site, aka "Internet Explorer Memory Corruption Vulnerability," a different vulnerability than CVE-2013-3120 and CVE-2013-3125.
The issue has been introduced in 04/12/2011. The weakness was published 06/11/2013 by Omair as MS13-047 as confirmed advisory (Website) via ZDI (Zero Day Initiative). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. The public release has been coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-3118 since 04/17/2013. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 05/14/2021).
