Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site, aka "Internet Explorer Memory Corruption Vulnerability," a different vulnerability than CVE-2013-3117 and CVE-2013-3122.

The issue has been introduced in 03/16/2010. The weakness was released 06/11/2013 by Omair and Amol Naik as MS13-047 as confirmed advisory (Website) via ZDI (Zero Day Initiative). The advisory is shared for download at technet.microsoft.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-3124 since 04/17/2013. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The current price for an exploit might be approx. USD $0-$5k (estimation calculated on 04/07/2017). It is expected to see the exploit prices for this product decreasing in the near future.
