A vulnerability was found in Sophos Anti-Virus up to 5.0 (Anti-Malware Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the component ZIP Archive Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, and integrity.
