The Data in Motion (DMo) application in Cisco IOS 15.6(1)T and IOS XE, when the IOx feature set is enabled, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted packet, aka Bug IDs CSCuy82904, CSCuy82909, and CSCuy82912.
The weakness was published 09/14/2016 with Cisco as cisco-sa-20160914-ios-xe as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at tools.cisco.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2016-6403 since 07/26/2016. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
