A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in IW Newsletter 3.5. Affected is an unknown function of the file /iwnewsletter/groups/groups_edit.asp of the component iGroup. The manipulation of the argument iGroup with the input value 31+union+select+1,2,3,4+from+USERS# leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component.
