The Motorola USBNet driver in Android before 2016-10-05 on Nexus 6 devices allows attackers to obtain sensitive information via a crafted application, aka internal bug 29914434.
The weakness was disclosed 10/05/2016 by Roee Hay with X-Force as Android Security Bulletin - October 2016 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at source.android.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-6678 since 08/11/2016. Attacking locally is a requirement. The successful exploitation needs a simple authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
