A vulnerability was found in Zotpress Plugin on WordPress (WordPress Plugin) (version now known). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects the function zp_get_account. Incorrect processing of responses to If-None-Modified HTTP conditional requests in Squid HTTP Proxy 3.1.10 through 3.1.23, 3.2.0.3 through 3.5.22, and 4.0.1 through 4.0.16 leads to client-specific Cookie data being leaked to other clients. Attack requests can easily be crafted by a client to probe a cache for this information.
The bug was discovered 12/16/2016. The weakness was presented 10/06/2016 by Saulius Lapinskas (Felix) (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-10002 since 12/17/2016. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
