Multiple buffer overflows in mqm programs in IBM WebSphere MQ 7.0.x before 7.0.1.11, 7.1.x before 7.1.0.3, and 7.5.x before 7.5.0.2 on non-Windows platforms allow local users to gain privileges via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was disclosed 06/26/2013 with CyberCrown Ltd as swg21639001 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-3028 since 04/12/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
