It is assigned to the family Misc.. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 370175 (Apple Mac OS X Security Update Sierra 10.12.1, El Capitan 2016-002 and Yosemite 2016-006 Not Installed (APPLE-SA-2016-10-24-2)).
Upgrading to version 3.1 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
