A vulnerability was found in daloRADIUS 0.9-9. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file config-maint-disconnect-user.php. The weakness was published 10/25/2016 by James Fraser and Avinash Duduskar as daloRADIUS 0.9-9 - Multiple vulnerabilities leading to arbitrary shell execution as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). It is possible to read the advisory at seclists.org. The public release has been coordinated with the project team. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1202 according to MITRE ATT&CK.

A public exploit has been developed by James Fraser/Avinash Duduskar in URL and been published immediately after the advisory. The exploit is available at seclists.org. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 45 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k. By approaching the search of inurl:config-maint-disconnect-user.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
