Multiple GET parameters in the vulnerability scan scheduler of AlienVault OSSIM and USM before 5.3.2 are vulnerable to reflected XSS.
The weakness was disclosed 10/28/2016 by Peter Lapp (Appsec) as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2016-8583 since 10/10/2016. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
