A vulnerability was found in Exponent CMS 2.4.0 (Content Management System). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing. The manipulation of the argument lastpage/src with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was shared 11/10/2016 by Nicky as Blind SQL Injection Vulnerability in Exponent CMS 2.4.0 as confirmed mailinglist post (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at seclists.org.
