The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. The weakness was presented 11/17/2016 by Tim Coen with Curesec Research Team as Jaws 1.1.1: Object Injection, Open Redirect, Cookie Flags as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. The public release happened without involvement of Jaws. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
