IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager 2.0 before 2.0.2 FP8, when Virtual Appliance is used, does not set the secure flag for the session cookie in an https session, which makes it easier for remote attackers to capture this cookie by intercepting its transmission within an http session.
The bug was discovered 08/23/2016. The weakness was disclosed 11/24/2016 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-0353 since 12/08/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
