A vulnerability has been found in Joomla CMS (Content Management System) (affected version not known) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file index.php of the component com_blog_calendar. The manipulation of the argument modid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was shared 12/26/2016 by X-Cisadane as not defined image (TinyPic). The advisory is shared for download at i64.tinypic.com. The attack can be initiated remotely. A SQL Injection Vulnerability has been discovered in the Joomla Module called com_blog_calendar. The Vulnerability is located in the index.php?option=com_blog_calendar&modid=xxx Parameter. Attackers are able to execute own SQL commands by usage of a GET Method Request with manipulated modid Value. Attackers are able to read Database information by execution of own SQL commands.
