The bug was discovered 01/10/2017. The weakness was presented 01/10/2017 by Bruno de Barros Bulle as CA20170109-01: Security Notice for CA Service Desk Manager as confirmed mailinglist post (Bugtraq). It is possible to read the advisory at seclists.org. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with CA. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2016-10086 since 12/30/2016. The attack can be launched remotely. A single authentication is necessary for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
