A vulnerability was found in Brocade Network Advisor up to 14.0.2 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the component FileReceiveServlet. A Directory Traversal vulnerability in FileReceiveServlet in the Brocade Network Advisor versions released prior to and including 14.0.2 could allow remote attackers to upload a malicious file in a section of the file system where it can be executed.

The bug was discovered 01/06/2017. The weakness was shared 01/14/2017 by rgod with Zero Day Initiative (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com.
