A vulnerability was found in Check Box 2016 Q2 Survey (Survey Software) (unknown version). It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown code block of the file /Upload.ashx. The manipulation of the argument f with the input value ..\..\web.config leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, and integrity.
