ownCloud Desktop before 2.2.3 allows local users to execute arbitrary and possibly gain privileges via a Trojan library in a "special path" in the C: drive.
The bug was discovered 08/17/2016. The weakness was published 01/23/2017 by Florian Bogner (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at owncloud.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-7102 since 08/27/2016. Attacking locally is a requirement. A simple authentication is needed for exploitation.
