A vulnerability has been found in docker2aci up to 0.12.x (Virtualization Software) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part of the component Image Handler. Directory traversal vulnerability in docker2aci before 0.13.0 allows remote attackers to write to arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the embedded layer data in an image.
The bug was discovered 01/27/2016. The weakness was released 01/27/2017 by Kaixiang Zhang with Qihoo 360 (Website). The advisory is available at openwall.com.
