Details
A vulnerability was found in Oracle Hyperion BI+ up to 11.1.1.3/11.1.1.4.107/11.1.2.1.129/11.1.2.2.305. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects an unknown function of the component Intelligence Service. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:
Unspecified vulnerability in the Hyperion BI+ component in Oracle Hyperion 11.1.1.3, 11.1.1.4.107 and earlier, 11.1.2.1.129 and earlier, and 11.1.2.2.305 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to affect confidentiality via unknown vectors related to Intelligence Service.
