Details
A vulnerability has been found in TrueConf Server 4.3.7 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file /admin/conferences/get-all-status/. The manipulation of the argument keys[] with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability (Reflected). The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. As an impact it is known to affect integrity.
The weakness was presented 01/29/2017 by LiquidWorm as EDB-ID 41184 as confirmed exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-20114. The attack can be initiated remotely. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.

Upgrading to version 4.5.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
