An issue was discovered in Fastspot BigTree bigtree-form-builder before 1.2. The vulnerability exists due to insufficient filtration of user-supplied data in multiple HTTP POST parameters passed to a "site/index.php/../../extensions/com.fastspot.form-builder/ajax/redraw-field.php" URL. An attacker could execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a browser in the context of the vulnerable website.
The bug was discovered 12/06/2016. The weakness was released 02/10/2017 (GitHub Repository). The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2016-10215 since 02/09/2017. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
