A vulnerability was found in PayPal PHP Merchant SDK 3.9.1 (Programming Language Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the file GetAuthDetails.html.php. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in GetAuthDetails.html.php in PayPal PHP Merchant SDK (aka merchant-sdk-php) 3.9.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the token parameter.
The bug was discovered 02/23/2017. The weakness was presented 02/24/2017 by Venustech with Adlab of Venustech (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2017-6099 since 02/18/2017. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
