The bug was discovered 03/14/2017. The weakness was presented 03/14/2017 by Mateusz Jurczyk with Google Project Zero as MS17-013 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The successful exploitation requires a simple authentication. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1592 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
