A vulnerability was found in LibTIFF 4.0.7 (Image Processing Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the file tools/tiffcrop.c of the component tiffcrop. The manipulation as part of a TIFF Image leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. tools/tiffcrop.c in LibTIFF 4.0.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and buffer overflow) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted TIFF image, related to "READ of size 1" and libtiff/tif_fax3.c:413:13.
