Siemens RUGGEDCOM ROX I (all versions) contain a vulnerability in the integrated web server at port 10000/TCP which is prone to reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks if an unsuspecting user is induced to click on a malicious link.
The bug was discovered 03/28/2017. The weakness was disclosed 03/29/2017 by Maxim Rupp (Website). The advisory is shared at siemens.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-2687 since 12/01/2016. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
Addressing this vulnerability is possible by firewalling tcp/10000.
