Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 15.020.20042 and earlier, 15.006.30244 and earlier, 11.0.18 and earlier have an exploitable memory corruption vulnerability in the rendering engine. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
The bug was discovered 03/30/2017. The weakness was released 03/31/2017 by Kushal Arvind Shah with Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs as APSB17-01 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at helpx.adobe.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-3010 since 12/02/2016. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
