A vulnerability was found in PoDoFo 0.9.5 (Document Reader Software) and classified as problematic. The PdfFontFactory.cpp:200:88 code in PoDoFo 0.9.5 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) via a crafted PDF document.
The weakness was disclosed 04/03/2017 by Agostino Sarubbo (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-7382 since 03/31/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
