A vulnerability has been found in Adobe Photoshop up to 17.0.1/18.0.1 (Image Processing Software) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the component Library Loader. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a unquoted search path vulnerability. The bug was discovered 04/11/2017. The weakness was disclosed 04/11/2017 by Cyril Vallicari as APSB17-12 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). The advisory is shared for download at helpx.adobe.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-3005 since 12/02/2016. The attack needs to be approached locally. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1574.009.
