The Management Web Interface in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS before 7.0.14 and 7.1.x before 7.1.9 allows remote attackers to write to export files via unspecified parameters.
The bug was discovered 04/10/2017. The weakness was released 04/10/2017 by Christophe Schleypen with NATO Communications and Information Agency as PAN-70436 as confirmed security advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at securityadvisories.paloaltonetworks.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-7217 since 03/21/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely.
