A vulnerability was found in Samsung wssyncmlnps and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code block of the component Kies Restore. Samsung wssyncmlnps before 2015-10-31 allows directory traversal in a Kies restore, aka ZipFury.
The bug was discovered 11/02/2015. The weakness was disclosed 04/13/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2015-8780 since 01/22/2016.
