A vulnerability was found in FFmpeg up to 2.0 (Multimedia Processing Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function codec_reinit of the file libavcodec/nuv.c. The impact remains unknown.
The weakness was released 08/13/2013 by Mateusz Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is available at git.videolan.org. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
