A vulnerability was found in mcart.xls Module up to 6.5.2 on Bitrix and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the file admin/mcart_xls_import.php. The manipulation of the argument xls_iblock_section_id_new with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in the mcart.xls module 6.5.2 and earlier for Bitrix allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) xls_profile parameter to admin/mcart_xls_import.php or the (2) xls_iblock_id, (3) xls_iblock_section_id, (4) firstRow, (5) titleRow, (6) firstColumn, (7) highestColumn, (8) sku_iblock_id, or (9) xls_iblock_section_id_new parameter to admin/mcart_xls_import_step_2.php.
The bug was discovered 01/13/2016. The weakness was published 04/14/2017 with High-Tech Bridge Security Research Lab as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2015-8356 since 11/25/2015. The attack may be launched remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
